SMS / Text Messaging Communications

When you provide your mobile phone number and opt in to receive text messages from iLotus Realty through our website contact form, you consent to receive SMS messages from us regarding property alerts (including short-sale, bank-owned, auction, and probate listings), showing and appointment reminders, transaction and closing updates, document signature reminders, and replies to your inquiries.

  • Message Frequency. Message frequency varies based on your activity, typically between 2 and 6 messages per month.
  • Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your wireless carrier and plan. iLotus Realty does not charge for SMS messages.
  • Opt-Out. You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. You may also reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at (407) 584-3596.
  • No Sharing of Mobile Information. iLotus Realty does not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information will only be shared with subcontractors providing services that support our SMS communications (e.g., our SMS platform provider, Twilio), and only as necessary to deliver those messages to you.
  • Consent Records. Your opt-in consent is recorded with a timestamp and stored securely.

By opting in, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this SMS policy. Phone numbers collected for SMS will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

Email Marketing

If you opt in to receive marketing emails from us, you may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any email or by contacting us directly at Info@iLotusRealty.com. We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act and honor opt-out requests promptly.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

  • Service Providers that help us operate our business, such as our website host, CRM, email marketing platform, SMS platform (Twilio), and e-signature provider. These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us.
  • Transaction Participants such as co-operating real estate agents/brokers, MLS, lenders, title and escrow companies, appraisers, inspectors, and attorneys, when needed to facilitate a transaction you are involved in.
  • Legal and Regulatory Authorities when required to comply with applicable law, court orders, or government requests, or to enforce our rights and protect the safety of users or the public.
  • Business Transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or a portion of our business.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, and analyze Site usage. How Long We Retain Your Data

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law.

  • Lead and Inquiry Data: Retained for as long as you remain an active prospect, and for a reasonable period thereafter for follow-up and recordkeeping.
  • Transaction Records: Retained for at least five (5) years following the closing or termination of a transaction, as required by Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC) Rule 61J2-14.012, and longer where required by law.
  • SMS Consent Records: Retained for the duration of your opt-in and a reasonable period after opt-out to document consent history.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
